The studio
A studio, not a startup. We don't chase scale for its own sake or ship things we wouldn't run our own lives on. Each product gets what good software actually requires: a clear reason to exist, honest engineering, and someone who stays to look after it.
Atkins Studio is the work of Marty Atkins, an engineer 27 years into the craft. That career runs from QA engineer to software engineer to engineering and enterprise-data director, leading global teams across logistics, banking, healthcare, and insurance. Along the way he built modern data platforms, stood up AI/ML operations, and shipped customer-facing products at enterprise scale.
Those years taught him where technology falls short of the people relying on it, and what it takes to build the kind that doesn't. The studio points that experience at real problems, one industry at a time. Personal finance is first.
